About The Event

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Join us for our International Women’s Day celebration featuring special guests, live music, live painting, a raffle and more. This event will be in partnership with The Honourable Company of Freemen of the City of London of North America.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Wounded Warriors, who’s mission is to support Canada’s ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and their families; and to the charitable trust of The Honourable Company of Freemen of the City of London of North America which supports artists in fashion.

Sponsored by: ACCA Canada

The world’s most forward-thinking professional accountancy body.

On February 25th, 2017 we launched our “Woman of the Day” campaign featuring women that we know through the BCCTC. This campaign profiled a variety of women, from entrepreneurs to those established on the corporate ladder, demonstrating the huge amount that has been achieved by women in Canada so far. Their interviews also provide an insight into the issues they have faced and their opinions on issues that women still face in business in 21st Century Canada. We created an infographic of the survey, more info here. We are excited to be running this campaign again this year, with so many exciting women to feature.
