There are strong diaspora links between Toronto and Northern Ireland, these were celebrated in November with a Northern Irish Connections, and Queen’s University Belfast Alumni networking event in November. The diaspora includes Her Honour Elizabeth Dowdeswell the Lt Governor who was born in Belfast.
