The UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) invites interested Canadian Technology companies to register their interest to join the upcoming UK/Canada AI inward mission to the UK, scheduled for March 3-8, 2024.
Mission Overview
The week-long, in-market emerging technologies investment mission is focused on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Deep learning. It offers an opportunity for selected Canadian technology companies, to meet key contacts, explore UK technology ecosystem and learn about the support and opportunities within the UK market. The mission involves visits to AI hubs throughout London, Scotland and Cambridge.

Dynamic demonstrations of state-of-the-art AI research and innovation.
Tour of AI clusters to learn best practices and identify opportunities.
Exposure to R&D at UK based universities and research organizations.
Introductions to in-market support personnel and resources.

What is included in the Mission?
This is a partially funded mission. The Department for Business and Trade will cover:
A comprehensive week-long program of activities.
Round trip economy flight for one founding member or company executive.
Transportation to AI clusters and site visits.
** Delegates will cover their hotel accommodations and incidentals.
Expression of Interest-RSVP:
Interested companies are invited to submit their expressions of interest by January 25, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Company must be headquartered in Canada and generating revenue.
Operating within the Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Deep Learning Technology sector or related area.
Be a founding member or company executive.
Interested in establishing a presence in the UK within the next 2 years.
